Privacy policy for mailing lists hosted at lerner.co.il
If you subscribe to a mailing list hosted at lerner.co.il, you
should know that we take your privacy very seriously. Here are
our basic policies, in no particular order:
- In order to subscribe to an e-mail list, you must confirm your
subscription via e-mail or our Web page. No one is ever
subscribed to one of our lists without their consent and
confirmation.
- The URL and/or e-mail address required to unsubscribe from a
list is sent along with every message to the list, as well as a
monthly reminder message. You may always write
to mailman-owner@lerner.co.il
to request that you be removed from a list.
- We never reveal the names or e-mail addresses of list
subscribers. If you subscribe to one of our lists, no one will
ever know that you subscribe unless you post to the list. The
only exception to this rule is government agencies that will
request to see this information.
- List archives are private, available only to list subscribers.
So you should not feel that other, random people from the Internet
will be able to browse through your comments to the list.
- Our list-management software, GNU Mailman, is a standard
open-source program. Its Web component uses cookies to ensure
that
- We collect only the bare minimum of information required to
keep the lists and Web site running. No information about your
personal browsing habits are stored. Information about your
e-mail exchanges are all kept, but only for the purpose of
debugging and maintenance.
- We encourage you to contact us at any time with questions,
comments, and concerns.
